Independent Artists Company, Co-President, International           1999-2000
Co-founded integrated film production and distribution company, with U.S. theatrical (14 releases in 16 months) and international distribution.
Headed international marketing, sales and licensing.
Responsible for international co-production and financing of filmed entertainment.  
Business affairs and legal services for acquisition of theatrical films for both domestic and international markets, banking relationships, home video agreements and domestic TV licenses for cable, network and syndication.  
Over 12 month period, structured and negotiated over $60 million in international co-production, financing and license agreements.

Founded and operated international sales and licensing company.
Coordinated sales and licensing activity for a library of 1200 television titles.

Researched and implemented the recapture of the copyright to It's A Wonderful Life (1946), which had previously fallen into the public domain.
Supervised comprehensive rights evaluation and documentation project for the Republic Pictures library, which included the films of John Wayne, classic westerns, Cliffhanger serials, Little Rascals and many other favorites.  
Negotiated and documented agreements in connection with all aspects of television movie and series development, acquisition and distribution.  
Negotiated agreements for acquisition and distribution of feature films.

Drafted legislation, arranged Committee hearings and prepared Senate reports on pending legislation and Presidential appointments.
Worked under the direct supervision of Senator Arlen Specter (Pennsylvania), on whose behalf I took a lead position in the legislative enactment of the Immigration Reform Act of 1982 and the Career Criminal Act which served as the model for various state initiatives including the 3 Strikes Law in California.
